We wanted to use this purple wall, but the family who owned the building said NO unless in exchange I took their family photo. They twisted my arm.










These were taken half with film and half digitally. What I learned from this shoot was that I like film in non-ideal lighting situations like in the above photo with an orange-light lamp near the skin.

In the following photo, there was orange light to the right and white light to the left, and the transition was perfect with film. The digital version of this shot was not very good. So, that's exciting. Now, when I think the lighting is bad, I'll just use film and it will all work out. . . I hope.
